That date is the tell. Miura started this in 1989 and drew it for the rest of his life, and the credit reads like a gravestone now rather than a byline.
Manga panels are built from crosshatch, and crosshatch is the first thing to turn into flat gray on a loose surface. Combed cotton holds the gaps between strokes open, so the shading still reads as shading. 230 GSM, midweight, in rotation all year.

Is this actually good quality, or thin print on demand fabric?
230 gsm, 100% combed cotton, acid wash finish. Combed cotton, garment washed, the everyday weight. Built to hold its shape and color through repeated washes.
Will the print crack, fade, or peel?
We use dtg garment print, cured properly so it won't crack under normal washing. Wash cold, inside out, and skip the dryer's high heat for the longest life.
Why does production take 2 to 4 days instead of shipping same day?
Everything is printed fresh per order instead of pulled from a pre made warehouse stock, which is what lets us offer this many designs and sizes without dead inventory. It also means your piece isn't sitting on a shelf before it reaches you.
